Navratri Fasting and Worship Rituals (PujaVidhi)

To receive the boundless grace of Mother Durga, observe the following guidelines for nine days:

1. Brahma Muhurat Bath: Wake up daily before sunrise, take a bath, and wear clean red or yellow attire.

2. Ghatasthapana Ritual: Spread a red cloth over a wooden stool placed in the Ishan Kona (Northeast corner). In front of the idol of the Mother Goddess, sow seven types of grains (Saptadhanya) or barley in an earthen pot. Fill a copper or earthen Kalash (pot) with holy water (Ganga Jal) and place a coconut atop it.

3. Sacred Lamp & Vow: Keep an Akhand Jyoti (continuous flame) burning for all nine days and take a solemn vow (Sankalp) to observe the fast.

4. Recitation & Mantras: It is considered highly auspicious to recite the *Durga Saptashati* or chant the mantra "Om Aim Hreem Kleem Chamundayai Vichche" "ॐ ऐं ह्रीं क्लीं चामुण्डायै विच्चे”  daily.
